ism of quantum mechanics and quantum field theory\nhas greatly influenced
the theoretical developments of physics. For\nexample\, a path integral de
scription of open quantum systems has been\nused to study the dissipative
dynamics of the quantum systems\, known as\nthe Caldeira-Leggett model of
the quantum Brownian motion. Studies of\nthermodynamics in the dissipative
quantum systems have attracted renewed\ninterest quite recently\, owing t
o the experimental verification of the\nnonequilibrium equalities and the
experimental implementation of quantum\ninformation heat engines.\n\nIn th
is presentation\, we develop a formalism for quantum thermodynamics\nbased
on path integral methods. This may give new insights and\nunderstandings
about the work and heat in quantum systems. In doing so\,\nwe use the Cald
eira-Leggett model and study the work and heat\nstatistics. This allows us
to study the non-Markov\, non-rotating wave\,\nstrong coupling regime wit
hout making any approximations. Using the path\nintegral method\, we have
derived the quantum work and heat functionals\ndepending on the path integ
ral trajectories of the system. Taking the\nsemi-classical limit\, we prov
ed analytically the convergence of the work\nand heat functionals (and thu
s their statistics) to their classical\ncounterparts.\n\nhttps://zakopane.
